The linksys is great. It is a firewall, a DHCP server, and has 4 ports. It handles all the IP stuff, you just basiclly plug it in and go, I love it.
highly reccommended.

Too bad buy.com took down the $30 off $150 deal. I got one for $119 pricematched at Staples, plus linksys has a $20 rebate on their site.
I was a little disappointed with this model because if you want to use the firewall features, the DHCP must be disabled. Other than that, everything works great and it's easy to configure. |

you sure about that? I thought with the NAT features, it didn't matter...I know I have blackICE behind it, and it doesn't go off anymore now that I use the linksys. And i do use DHCP.
