Apple MacBook Pro 15"
So my PowerBook is on the fritz and it's about time for it to go. I'd love to continue with a Mac, though they're so damned expensive.
Anyone have any tips, suggestions, sites, etc. for a cheaper MacBook pro? I know about the education discount since I'm kind of still a student...Anything else? Will anyone have sales on these after the holidays? Or now? thanks.

Best deal lately has been through amazon since its free shipping and no tax. You might want to check out macrumors.com they have a buyer's guide section that gives you an idea of when an update is possibly coming.
