Guys i would really like to get some good deals on Nikon, Canon, or sigma AF mount lenses for my Canon Elan IIe.
I am looking for a wide angle (something under 28mm) or a telephoto or zoom to about 500mm

well this might be worth a shot, go to http://www.vivitar.com/Products/Pages/Lenses/index.html and see if there's any that's compatible. If yes, then I'll ask my dad who works for the company and he can get it for pretty cheap cuz of employee discounts. It's a vivitar though, dunno if they're up to par with all the other lenses you needed.

I have never heard of a converter that will let you use a Nikon lens on a Canon camera.

Nikon is having a cash back promotion right now actually. Check out the models that get a rebate here: http://www.nikonusa.com/pdf/NAS_Counter_Card.pdf
