I have 400bucks to spend on a computer. i have monitor, printer, keyboard and mouse. so i just need the computer itself. preferably p3. what can i get for 400? or less? where is a good place to buy barebone systems? anybody selling their p3 systems to upgrade? Just helping out a friend here. any info would be much appreciated. thank you.

try Ubid's computer section. some of their high-end systems go for $300-$400 if you're lucky. pretty top-notch parts too: athlon 1.1-1.3ghz, 256-384mb ram, 20-40gb hard drive, cdrw, dvd, etc. check out the free shipping/$20 rebate for first-time buyer coupons from Ubid on the Apex deals archive page, too.
