Hey everybody. This is my first time building a computer, so I feel pretty overwhelmed right now. Here's a list of what I'm looking at and prices that I've found it for. If you know of any place or person that has these parts, please email me. Also, if you have any better suggestions, please let me know. I'm open to anything! Thanks.

Case: Enlight 7230 Case 300watts power
CPU: AMD Athlon 1 GHz
Heatsink Fan: Cooler Master DP5-6H11
Motherboard: AMD Iwill KK266
RAM: Crucial 133 256 RAM (I want two) $41 each at Crucial
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 60 Gig $154 at Compgeeks.com plus 10% MasterCard Discount
VideoCard: Hercules Nvidia GeForce 3
SoundCard: SoundBlaster 5.1 Live X-Gamer (Bought at $61)
CD-RW: Plextor 16x/10x/40x CD-RW ($160??)
DVD-Player: Creative Labs 12x Player $40
Speaker: Altec Lansing?
Keyboard: ??
Mouse: Optical Mouse??

Most of what you picked sounds ok... if you're looking for prices just do a search at pricewatch to get an idea. For speakers, it depends on how much money you want to spend, Klipsch Promedia's are nice, Altec Lansing or Cambridge should do well also. I personally like the Logitech optical mouse.

I dont think u need a ge-force 3! u could save some cash and go w/ a ge-force 2 ultra and save! i bet u wouldnt even know the difference!
