Everybody seems to be on the LCD bandwagon... are there any good (or even bad), cheap CRT's out there? A friend of mine just lost his. It seems to have cooked from the inside... and fire is a bad thing.
I've found 'em for about $90 plus $30+ shipping on pricewatch; there's also the 17" refurb at dell with free shipping, $150... http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...2&sku=603356-5 But there's got to be something better out there... Thanks. -Dan |

If you are looking for a cheap 15" crt, here is a link for bestbuy.com for an emachine 15" for 39.99+ shipping. Says it is not available for in-store pick-up.

got me! Still half the price of the others. I wonder if you could pricematch it (if available at other stores) and hopefully avoid the shipping charge. Try this link which explains their shipping policy http://www.bestbuy.com/InfoCenter/Ge...?m=465&cat=470 Basicly they charge you a flat $5.00 (for heavy pc item...)+ $0.55 per pound. Thanks!
Thanks everyone. He bought it tonight - just about died when I told him the price. I'm always astounded when people go to a local wal-mart or similar to pay 3-4 times as much for the same thing.
