does anyone know where I can pick up a Geforce 3 card for 350 or less? I was hoping to find a good place to get a Hercules 3D Prophet 3 but so far i've only seen it for about $430 retail. Thanks for any help

There are rumors that Hercules and nvidia are not getting along. That supposely is why Hercules 3D Prophet 3 is so hard to find.

If you want a Geforce 3 at good prices with good service buy from newegg: http://www.newegg.com/app/manufactory.asp?catalog=48

Power Color Geforce3 64mb w/DVI+TV Retail Video Card $305.00 and $2 shipping

The only GeForce 3 videocard that doesn't follow nvidia's reference design are Asus GF3 cards. GeForce 3 videocards all perform the same. Only difference is what features they come with-like DVI output or not. Or come with a game bundle or not. So unless there's some reason to get the Hercules 3D Prophet 3, go with cheapest GeForce 3 videocard you can get Krayzie.

I was hoping to get a hercules because I own a guillemot 3d prophet and I know they are reliable when it comes to rmaing your card. Also the hercules card supposedly has the DVI out. I think I'll probably end up picking up the retail visiontek gf3 for $333 at newegg. Thanks for the help. I would get the PowerColor but I've never heard of them before so I'm not to sure about that card. Strange last week newegg still had the Hercules 3D Prophet III for $429 oem but now its gone.. guess they figured out they were charging the retail price for an oem item...
