Uhh, retail on the Coolpix 995 is $979, not $499.... you might have trouble finding it at that price.
Cnet lists the cheapest price at $729 from Buydig.com, but you have to tack on about $25 for shipping from them. Still not a bad price for that camera. |

My experience with buydig.com, from about a year ago:
Their list price for the Nikon 990 was after a manufacturer's mail-in rebate. There was however, absolutely no mention of rebates anywhere on the page. They might've cleaned up their act since then, but I'd stay clear of that site. |
