What type of jacket are you looking for? Shell, fleece, down?
If you haven't already, may want to try www.rei-outlet.com or www.campmor.com. Sierra Trading Post is also a good place. www.mgear.com sometimes has good sale prices...sign up for the newsletter and they'll periodically send you links to the list of single stock items that go for even less. I personally am not a fan of TNF outerwear. Ever since TNF switched over to targeting the trendy/fashionable, I feel their outerwear has gone down hill. www.overstock.com has some okay prices on Marmot and other brands, but no TNF stuff.

I got a northface goretex insulated jacket for 150 at rei-outlet...
pretty decent. also, dickssportinggoods is pretty good.. I found a triple layer gore-tex for 100 bucks...
