Hey guys, I'm hungry! Any good deals and coupons on food? No.... I don't want to know about the mcdonalds 29 cent hamburger day... I want some good sit-in service style restaurants here! Any suggestions? any coupons?

Buy an entertainment book. (www.entertainment.com) My GF and I have one and it has TONS of deals on restaurants. they're all buy one get one free or 50% off if you're dining alone for the nice restuarants. for the fast food places there are good coupons too to get free stuff. it's worth it. my GF and I are on our second book. you can sometimes buy them from girl scouts or something cuz they sell them as fundraisers. we have the one for the LA area and it has Roscoe's, lots of steak houses, Tomadachi, and tons of others. go to their website and check it out. it's $30 but my GF and I saved over $250 last year. if you go out a lot, it's worth it.

Check out iDine.com . . . their service is great because there is no coupon to forget (or be embarrassed in front of that new hottie you're trying to impress). iDine is hooked up to the credit card system. When you use your card at a participating restaurants (and there are a ton of them), you get 20% off. That's 20% off the tax + tip as well! The $$ is in the form of a credit on your CC bill. So, for a $100 tab, on your monthly Visa bill you'll also have a $20 credit.
Have a current member buy a gift/intro membership for you and it's cheaper. If I remember correctly, it's $20 for the gift membership and the current member gets a $10 kick-back. Regular membership is like $50? I don't remember . . . check out the website. BTW: My new job doesn't have me travel, but I became a member of iDine two jobs ago when I did (DAMN DOT-COMs). I therefore MADE MONEY with each trip. My receipt said $100, so my company reimbursed me $100. Then I got $20 credit on my CC as well. Pretty sweet! |
