I need to find a good deal on a PS2!!

Christmas is coming up and i know that prices tend to rise a little, but i was wondering if you have seen any good deals on playstation 2. My brother wants one for christmas, so i looked around but it seems that they are all $299.99 and i was wondering if by any chance any of you guys have seen it for cheaper. I am not expecting a miracle but just want to save some money. Thanks.

Virgin Megastores is having 30% off all of their stuff. So if you're lucky and have a store near by you and are able to get one. . . you can get it for $210 + tax.

The sale ends December 26. I forgot to mention though, you have to use an Amex Blue card. Sorry if you don't have one. BUT YOU SHOULD!!! Just like how Apex keeps on putting it in the deal pages, its a great card.

But one of us might apply just to get this deal.

Thanks for all your help spigidygak. I called Virgin electronics and they said that they are selling fast.

So without your help i might not have ever heard of this deal, even if i have to get someone to get a credit card

Heh dude. . . some reason you are sooooo lucky. I just took notice to your location. . . I'm near by Riverside. Well actually during the week I'm in school down in San Diego. But I usually go back up on the weekends home in Redlands. So . . . not sure if the Virgin at Ontario has 'em in stock but I most likely will be up nextweekend. . . Heh. Anyhoo, guess we'll try working things out if you want. My weekends are usually busy so, it would probably end up being easier for me to mail it. . . but feels so stupid to do it when we live pretty close to each other.

Maybe I could meet you somewhere to pick it up. My friend lives in Sand Diego by the stadium and can pick it up if she needed to. Anyways I am willing to meet somewhere if it means i get that kind of deal on a PS2, hey it is the least i can do if you are offering to take time to help me out. Just let me know what you are thinking about and let me discuss it with my parents(who are helping buy it). I could even drive to Ontario Mills where the Virgin store is and be there when you get it and then just pay you right there and stuff. anyways just let me know what you think.

Uhm go ahead and e-mail me later. I'm gonna do a virgin store run this weekend since I got a couple orders from other friends. Hopefully they'll have some in stock some point from now until the 26th. Anyhoo, lets not get ahead of ourselves until I acutally have the box in my hands.
