I'm looking for a legit site to register my domain. I'm a college student though, so funds are low. Does anyone know the best place to do this, all things considered? Please LMK

I used RegisterFly ($9.99/yr) because it had free url forwarding and email forwarding. (this was when my site was on angelfire so I really needed those features)

I used www.domainmonger.com $17yr
They are really nice people and run a good buisness. But seeing that I can get the same stuff for 1/2 price I might switch. FREE Domain Forwarding FREE Email Forwarding FREE Customizable Parking Page FREE DNS Services FREE Online Management FREE Usage of our Domain Wizard |

Is it true that GoDaddy.com doesn't have free domain forwarding and free e-mail forwarding?

Yes, 'tis true. Domain forwarding is $9.95 a year and I am not sure what they charge for e-mail forwarding. I don't use either product for my personal site, so it's a non-issue for me. All I know is it beats what Network Solutions (used to, and still) charges. |

I just registered a domain with registerfly.
This is a pretty good deal, esp. with the free forwarding. My only complaint is that their purchasing process gets a little bit confusing as you go through it. I finished the transaction without actually knowing that it was completed, because no confirmation came up on the screen. The domain I registered is a .us, and RegisterFly would only do a minimum of 2 years. Not a big deal. |

I vote GoDaddy.com too. They are really cheap and good for the money. Dotster.com is more expensive but has good customer service.
