Hey all-
I'm looking into buying a radar detector for my car. I know that the Valentine One is the best on the market, but that is too pricy for me. Does anyone know of either 1) A good deal on a radar detector or 2) A way to get the Valentine cheaper than $400? Thanks!

You can go to eBay and find a used one. If you do though, have the person send you the serial number and reference it at Valentine One's site to ensure it doesn't need too much of an upgrade. Cheers.

that was low, but i will take it in stride. The escort seems to work pretty good. Very customizable. I really dont care to know where the radar is coming from. When i get a signal, i slow down. If its laser, I just stay with traffic. |

Hahaha!!! It wasn't meant to be personal. I used to swear by Passport back in the day. Actually Valentine broke away over from Cincinnati Microwave to start his own company and both companies do a great job. Only real difference between the V1 and the Escort is that i'll pick up signals 2 bends and a hill before you.
