Question Digital Camera Prints

Does anybody know of good places to order prints from digital cameras? I know Ofoto.com has them for $0.49 a print. Are they any good? Does anyone have any recommendations or coupons?

Thanks!

There are a bunch of places that do it:

http://www.Ofoto.com
http://www.Shutterfly.com
http://www.Snapfish.com
http://www.dotPhoto.com
http://ezprints.mye-pix.com

Most (if not all) of these places will usually give you some free prints for signing up (just charge shipping). Sign up for a few & see who has the better price/quality. I've ordered from Ofoto and Snapfish, and the prints are actually very good - I used a 2.5 megapixel image - compressed .jpg even - and I can't tell the difference between the print and a film camera print unless I look reeeeeealy close. This was with a 4x6 print - larger prints will show more pixilation.

Costco uses Kodak's services, and their prices are half what Kodak charges the "common folk."

Sam's Club is the same price as Costco. They use Fuji labs.

Both produce great quality prints.

If you're planning on printing a lot of photos, it might be worth the price of membership to join up!

For what it's worth, I was an ofoto and shutterfly customer way back when. They're pretty good, too, although they don't offer the freebies the way they did in the "old days" of 1999. ofoto is now owned by Kodak, I think.

what sizes do you need? i have the june macworld, and they have an article about online photoplaces. they prices very depending on the picture size. some places are more for a smaller print, while cheaper for the larger ones. the available online tools differ as well. some places offer very few tools while other have several tools.

tell me sizes and i will post them.
