ok, i feel really stupid for starting new threads 3 times in a row, but i guess that's just the story of my life.

personal things put aside, i have a strange finding that has perplexed me enough to pull more than a few whiskers from my chin and angered me enough to grit my teeth (really hard) at my innocent bystander monitor (which is hopefully going to be replaced). i was at the samsung website looking at the page for the SyncMaster 955DF (19 inch monitor)and to my delight i saw a small picture that read "955DF Mail In Rebate $50". when i click on it, i get redirected to another lcd monitor that i'm clearly not interested in. anyone know more about this? here's the link for the seemingly cruel hoax of the ages.
