advice on video cards < or = $40
i'm looking for an older video card, preferably new, but it doesn't have to be.
what do you guys think i could get for about $40 bucks? i was thinking something in the neighborhood of a GeForce2GTS? i really have no idea tho. advice or offers would be apprecaited. oh yeah... only games played (and very rarely) are counter-strike and wc3. thanks again. cheers

under the assumption of agp, go for gf mx400 or radeon.

I think the GF2 mx series is fine if your only using your pc for internet, office programs, and very light gaming. but for a few bux more you could get the GTS (which is the same chipset as the gf2 pro and ultra just incase you want to OC the card) Im using the GTS in my computer cause im not a heavy gamer but its worth the extra few $ cause it's alot faster than the mx cards in games.
oh btw what is your system specs? 2x agp or 4? |

this is for my 2nd computer...
duron 650 abit kt-7 raid 256mb pc133 cas2 30gb hd but anyway, i ended up getting a geforce2 mx400. it seemed to fit the bill. thanks for the advice tho. |
