dell fss (faculty, staff, students) member id?

i purchased a dell desktop under the fss program in december (several mir's). today i received an email from dell, asking me to verify my eligibility. i'm a student at the university of california, los angeles - so no worries regarding my student status. however, they also want an FSS Member ID, which supposedly is assigned to each school. the folks i asked at ucla have no clue what i am talking about (go figure). any ideas anyone??

It may just mean your employee, faculty, student or staff ID number as below. I would think FSS stands for faculty, student, or staff.

Q How do I know if I qualify for Dell's Faculty, Student & Staff Program?

A The following customers are eligible:

Administrative Offices & Boards of Education
Teachers, Faculty and Staff
Higher Education Students
Educational Consortia and Systems
Eligible Academic Hospitals
Public Libraries
Public Museums
Higher Education Research Laboratories
During the checkout process, you will be asked to provide your company or institution name as well as an employee, faculty, student or staff ID number. Limit one system per person per year. See Microsoft's Qualified Educational User Definition and Distribution Guidelines for more detailed eligibility information.

The FSS is a unique ID for each school. I managed to find one for UC Irvine. Let me know if anyone needs it.
