whats the deal with ******.com?

I am just wondering how exactly ******.com works. Between this forum and one other, there is a lot of talk about ******, but I have really no idea how it works or if it is a good deal.

any suggestions/comments?
thanks!

****** works like this:

you use their links to shop at merchants. they give you a percentage of your total purchase back. they basically share a part of the commission they receive from you using their links. every 3 months or so, they'll cut a check if you have at least a certain amount of $$ accumulated. they also give you $5 if you refer friends, and after those friends make their first purchase using those links.

****** isn't the only place which offer cashback.

ok, so you simply have to use the links from their websight? unlike upromise.com, you don't have to give them your credit card info?

sounds like a good deal to me. too bad I just dropped 150 bucks on text books last week at barnesandnoble.com....

thanks for the info!

****** doesn't give the best discounts for barnes... for that, you'd have to use DiscoverCard's links, and your discovercard. They give you 7% cashback instead of ****** which i believe gives 4%. i dropped over $800 on textbooks there 2 wks ago

hehe.. tho i enjoy the sympathy.. not all the textbooks were for me. i helped my friends get discounts.. with the cashback, barnes & nobles coupon, and also this thing called student advantage or bn's reader's advantage.. i yielded a total of bout 16.0675% off, free shipping, no tax.. bought new textbooks for a few bucks more than my campus charges for used books
