ram for laptop
im looking for ram for a dell 600m. any suggestions on where to go and how much to get? im going to use the laptop primarily for wordprocessing and internet, then secondarily for gaming, movies, and some photoshop. is it better just to go with a 256 stick in addition to keeping one of the 128 sticks to get 384, or go 512 and 128 for 740 total?

yea... check crucial.com or www.tigerdirect.com
i was able to find the ram i needed from TD cheaper than at crucial since there was a rebate. i dont know if crucial gives rebates tho... never done business with them.

is tigerdirect that good? i've heard stories from others here about them. or is it just their rebates that arent that great? also, i know crucial has lifetime warranty on their ram, do any other brands offer that type of warranty? |
