Best Price for XP Pro

Best price I can find so far is $133.44 shipped. Anyone know where I can get a better price? Thanks.

if you already have a disc for it and just want the COA, you can get it for under $100 http://atl.aitweb.net/cgi-bin/ait-de...555&menu_no=11

Otherwise that $133.44 is about as good as it can get for time being.

$133 is a great price, unless you are a student. Then it is under $100.

Good luck.

I got XP Pro Upgrade student version on newegg.com for about $81 a couple of months ago. Here's a link to a search I did on newegg:

Cal State Hayward has the office XP Pro (not upgrade) for $80. When I said under $100 I was including tax, and just estimating. Before this dumb budget crisis the same software was $25.

Check around your school some more - I know the Un Of Minnesota actually allows free downloads of XP, 2000 and Office XP for students and teachers. I gotta believe they aren't the only one that does that.

I could buy a copy for $5 from my school, so I know it can be found for cheap.

Remember that I am in CA where we have a $38,000,000,000 deficit. Our school fees have increased 50% in just over two years, and I just got an email yesterday from the chancellor that says it will be rising another 11% this quarter (that started a few weeks ago) or we will be turning away 30% of applicants starting this next quarter/semester.
