Cdplayer

I'm looking for a simple, but kick-ass cdplayer. I'm not into to the design or all the little features. I just want something that plays cd-r's and plays well. Anyone have any suggestions?

Over on the deals page Amazon is having a huge sale. They have a RIO CD/MP3 player for 40 bucks. Even if you don't use the MP3 feature, it's still pretty good. I have the delux CD/MP3 player like this one and it kicks butt.

Not a direct answer to your question, I'm afraid, but I've got to second baggio's point about mp3 cd players. You can fit WAY more mp3s on a cd-r than the other formats, so I think it's well worth it for that reason alone. And $40 isn't exactly breaking the bank for a sweet mp3 cd player like he suggested.

since we're on the subject of a Mp3/CD player , which would be the best choice between the prices of $60-$100.

So i'm not going to give you a straight answer, but mostly because i'm biased. I have a Rio Volt Sp250, which they don't make anymore, and I love it. With MP3's it has 8 minute anti skip, its great, the cd stops spinning. The nearest one and a bit better, but more than the $100 you want to spend is the SP350.

Here's the link to it on Amazon, maybe check it out.

I've been thinking about that one...seems like it's a really good deal for pretty much all the features it has.
