Arrow L shaped desk NEEDED- any deals out there?

I just moved into the DC area and need an L shaped desk for my new place. Has anyone seen one on any of the deal sites lately?

I searched just about all and couldn't come up with anything.

HELP!

Keep an eye on Office Max- that is where I got mine. Look for a coupon you can use with purchase. They run specials that include perhaps a free file cabinet or hutch or something. I got a free hutch (shelf unit). Free delivery to most areas too.

I'd also recommend checking Office Max's site. About a month ago, I found a great deal where they had an L-shaped desk on sale for $99 (instant rebate) with free shipping. They also threw in a free hutch (~$50 value) which was nice.

This is the one I got- I liked that the computer sets up where I can easily access it under the monitor. The file drawers in the one picture are not included, but right now they are including the free hutch like I got. Just don't get water on it- it will damage the surface. http://www.officemax.com/max/solutio...BlockOID=52696

$119.99 with free hutch (reflects instant rebate).

Thanks for the information! Can you get this in store also? There is an Office Max not too far away from me. Could probably go and look instead of being lazy.

I do not have a store near me to check out but they did offer free shipping. Sometimes they use private delivery companies. Mine came fine. You do have to assemble and it was fairly heavy in the box.

It would be a good idea to go to the nearest store so that you can check out the different desks in person. However, I'd recommend that you take advantage of the free shipping offer since the desks are heavy, not to mention that there might be a free hutch included as well. Call me lazy, but I'd much rather have the delivery person do all the work!

Do they deliver after hours? Usually what happens when I get things delivered is that I am not home and have to go to the office at the apartment complex I live in anyway. Honestly me going to the office or going to Office Max is about the same distance.

I'm not sure about after-hours delivery so you might want to call their customer service to ask about that. Office Max's order tracking is pretty good, so I telecommuted the day mine was supposed to be delivered and sure enough it came in the afternoon.

The main reasons why I had my desk and hutch delivered was because I didn't want to lug both heavy boxes to my gf's 2nd floor apartment (not easy for a person to move unless you have a hand-truck), and the desk box wouldn't have fit in my car anyway.
