Centrino vs. P4 w/HT

Which is a better notebook deal?

A Centrino at 1.5 w/512MB RAM

or

A P4 w/HT 2.8 GHZ w/512 RAM

...considering the two are at the same price with same specs otherwise. I am debating whether the Centrino gig is worth all the hype. Looking for advice from those of you who own both. Thanks as always.

Centrino. Cooler running, similiar performance, longer battery life.

Centrino if you use the battery a lot. P4 if it stays plugged in all the time.

I agree

Go with the centrino. You should get better performance, smaller chasis, much cooler temp., and better battery cond.
