Centrino vs. P4 w/HT
Which is a better notebook deal?
A Centrino at 1.5 w/512MB RAM or A P4 w/HT 2.8 GHZ w/512 RAM ...considering the two are at the same price with same specs otherwise. I am debating whether the Centrino gig is worth all the hype. Looking for advice from those of you who own both. Thanks as always. -El Taco Triste ![]() |

Centrino. Cooler running, similiar performance, longer battery life.

Centrino if you use the battery a lot. P4 if it stays plugged in all the time.

I agree
Go with the centrino. You should get better performance, smaller chasis, much cooler temp., and better battery cond.
