I've been researching 21" monitors and have found out that there are a few certainties.
1: Sony makes the best bar none... 2: Sony is the more pricey... I have looked at both the G500 and the F500 R. Does anyone know of any other monitors that compare for a better price? I've priced this Mitsubishi @ Onvia : DPLUS200 22"/20V .24MM 1600x1200 Natural Flat $ 879.98 Mfr. # DPLUS200 -Any advice helps...thanx |

The Mitsu 2040U is far better than the Dplus 200, and not that much more expensive. The 2040u is more in line with the F500R's performance. (I have two F500's and the Dell P1100 which is the G500 tube. Darth has the 2040u)

scavdog: Sony makes the best for sure. Check out iiyama's Vision Master Pro 510
Nec has the MultiSync's FP1350 and FP1370 Also take a look at NEC's MultiSync FE1250 monitor All the above monitors use Mitsubishi's Diamondtron NF tube. |

Yes KDS is one of the companies that use Sony's Trinitron tube. Can't say I much care for KDS monitors quality though.
