action village is where i get all my gear online. marblizers [sp?] are great. they cost a lot tho, 70 per 2000. if u have a beginner/intermediate marker, u dont need to spend that much. if u have an advanced marker, u should def put the extra money in the marbleizers. what kind of marker do u have? and what size barrel do u have?

civicdidex, I have a Arex Elite marker that utilizes the .68 calibre paintballs. Not sure where in the scale this marker fits into. Let me know what your opinions are on paintballs for this marker.
I will check out Actionvillage shortly. Many thanks linus |

hmmm never heard of ur marker. all paintball guns use .68 cal paint, but the range from .685 to .689; thousandths of inches really do matter. id say the scale for markers is roughly: $0-300, $300-800, $800 and up [beg, inter, adv respectively]. intermed and adv would run on nitrogen and beg would run on co2

Well I can say that the marker falls in the beginner category then. You were correct about the paintballs. .68 is what I use. Will find out about the calibre as I will like to upgrade the barrel next. I heard a 12" barrel will improve accuracy...

barrels are a tricky thing to shop for. because they are different bore measurements you get stuck sacrificing accuracy for price. wider bores accomodate many diff sizes of paint, narrower bores fit only the expensive paint, so watch out on that. also, what thread is your marker? it kinda looks like a spyder in the small pic but thats also something you need to know when buying a barrel. hope this helps a bit.
a barrel will improve ur acc a bit but you can get other upgrade to further ur acc - expansion chamber and nitro internal kit. the tough part is knowing when to stop upgrading and just get a better gun [depending on how hardcore/addicted you get]. you can easily pour in $250 and still not be as accurate as the more expensive markers bone stock. |

I think I am going to play with the marker a bit more before upgrading. When I do upgrade i am looking at the barrel 1st. Many forums I looked through recommend the Smart Parts Progressive Barrels 12" for this marker. I am not sure how to determine whether it is a spyder or some other fitting. I think its time to ping the manufacturer for specs.
Thanks for all the advise. Linus |

i reccomend ebay. you can buy the whole deal with a retail price of 180 for 40 bucks, which includes a pihranna or brass eagle(decent not angel or anything) a large count of paintballs, c02 canister, mask, hopper ect.
