Rings?
anyone know of any good stores out there that sells really good rings? looking one thats under $150 that is really nice for my g/f. more like a promise ring.

i would definitely check blue nile. they've got some of the more modern and contemporary styles of jewelry without breaking the bank....
they've got a few that break the bank too, but you're not looking for those YET right? BLUE NILE we've had quite a few nice pieces outside of the rings as well from them. you can find those here: http://www.gotapex.com/deals.php?search=bluenile and i don't just say this b/c they're one of my merchants.... forbes and other articles have pointed to blue nile as one of the best. you won't see me making quite the same claim with our other jewelers....  |

Maybe it's just me, but if I were buying a promise ring for someone, I'd want to see it "live" and choose among several in person before settling on one.

awww, how nice. an opal is a good promise, aka pre-engagement ring, maybe with a couple of little diamonds on the side.
