AMD 64 pci-E (non SLi)

is there an AMD pci-E mobo for about $110 i wish they had DDR2 533 also (i don't think there are any yet), but i like the k8t890 by soltec. If you guys have any suggestions, that would be great to...

edit: oh yeah i'm going with a skt.939 and dual channel ddr

Because of its higher latencies, DDR2 does not yet offer much improvement in performance over DDR1 for the same price, which is why most of the Athlon 64 boards recommend DDR400 (PC3200) on them. In the future, it will be able to achieve theoretically higher clock speeds than DDR1, but it just isn't worth it yet.

I bought the Gigabyte K8NS-(Ultra)-939 nForce3 Ultra... ultra mega, you know.
...bought that last week from Newegg, for between $100-120.. think it was like $116 maybe??.. cant remember ordered other parts so i just know i spent over 150 heh.
I havent had a chance to try it out, but after looking around for reviews(which there werent many).. for the 939 boards.. the K8NS-939 seemed to have the best options with RAM.. some of those newer 939 boards by other companies have very weird setup/requirements for their memory. i can give ya an example if you want, but just trust me they're totally weird......
Anywho, all that works great... if you want AGP. PCi-E boards are also made using basically the same board... gigabyte makes a couple of them, and asus makes a few as well ( the notable ones) also, I cant remember who makes it, but I believe the NEO2 Platinum mobo is Pci-E?

..to answer your question, they do not make DDR2 533 mobo's for the 939's.. and I believe this is also true for the AMD64's running the 754 sockets.

$110'ish dolllars for a socket-939 pci-E board?? good luck! (sorry, but you picked the more expensive setup there) lemme know what you find.

I guess I wouldn't mind if there was a combo w/ cpu above AMD64 3500 that is a good deal...
