I know October 26th is a ways away, yet I was wondering if we will see great deals. As with DCast it took several months and it is selling for less than the original Nintendo did. I don't mean straight retail though, even coupons can make the price...
Also is Dcast better? I have never owned a council...

Now, this is just a RUMOR..
but I heard that either Electronics Boutique or Target (I think!) Will have some sort of electronic coupon for pre-ordering your PS2 on-line, for $25 or so.. I was talking with the manager of EB and he seemed to hint at it. Unfortunately I don't know whether or not it's fact. |

I pre-ordered mine at outpost.com
There was no dollor off coupon but the good thing is I could get PS2 at launch. Most of online and retail stores stopped the pre-order for PS2. It will be very hard to find PS2 by the launch time. I think outpost.com still accepts pre-order at $299.99, no tax, and free overnight shipping. |

I know I know, you're all sick of rumours.. but sony has made some sort of statement saying they won't be able to meet the requirements of the amount of PS2's pre-ordered.. so chances are you might not get one come initial launch, even if you DID pre-order it.
