I am looking for deals on Burton stuff in the Seattle area. Specifically on the following:

Board: Floater 155cm
Bindings: c14, dont know what size, but needs to fit boots
Boots: Burton Ion size 10

Thanks, also if there are no deals, i at least need to know where to buy burton stuff in the area.

I don't know too much about snowboards. But I would think this would be the best time since it's off season. Maybe try a local sporting store.

Actually spigidy, it's not the best time, the best time is mid-late april when you are getting all the closeout deals, but it doesnt seem to me like i can find a burton board anywhere in the area. i guess i'll just keep looking. They should really have a store on their site.

Ive had really good success with http://www.boardzone.com. they are in canada but have fairly good prices. heres a tip for you if you can pull it off.

they have prices in both US and Canadian dollars. they ask you where you are from and give you the corresponding prices for where you are. but their conversion isnt as good as market price for the exchange. I have ordered from them 3 times and 2 out of the three times I convinced the guy I was ordering from to charge me the price in canadian dollars instead of the US price. I told him even though I lived in the US I wanted him to charge me the canadian price in canadian dollars to my credit card. Your credit card company will often give you a much better exchange rate than what they give you and save you just a tad more money.

actually its not really true, I only got them to do it correctly once. the second time he converted the canadian to US on a calculator and gave me that in US dollars, but it was still cheaper than the regular US price.

either way it took a lot of talking and a lot of explaining. they may or may not go for it. but if they do its great for you. good luck.

Chris, first off, if you are trying to get Burton stuff on-line, it won't happen except via an auction site. Burton doesnt allow its vendors to sell their wares over the internet. Seems stupid to me, but thats the way it is.

Second, if you can make the trek down to Portland, do it. There is a store there, US Outdoor. They have a great selection of Burton stuff, and they have it for below retail prices. So what you see in the catalog, take maybe %10 off. It's definitely worth the 3 hr drive.

If you can't make it, maybe I can help ya out...
