Drool External Hard Drive

Hi all!

I am looking for an external hard drive, 40-80 gb, that is fairly small that can back up anything I want on it. Something RELIABLE and fairly inexpensive for personal use. Nothing too hefty either!

Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance =)

just buy a HD and then get an enclosure. It's usually cheaper that way

Or you can get this if you want to swap between HDD's. Pretty handy...

Yeah buy a HD and an external enclosure.. You can pick up a 300GB for $90 and a case for $25..

The best deal I've got for a external hd is $58 for the Maxtor OneTouch II 200GB

Those prices must be with multiple rebates. They are way cheaper than I have ever seen, especially, the 200 GB drive

It wasnt a multiple rebate.. It was $100 (Straight up price) and there was a $20 off $100 staples couples.. So the total price was $80.. They charged me $180 for the rebate and they pricematched it to the error price and it was $58 with tax.

if you don't want anything hefty, you can get an 80 gig laptop HDD for a similar price as a huge 5.25" HDD. i popped my old laptop HDD into an external USB2.0 case and it's small and handy.
