500+ GB Hard drive deals?
I am looking for a hard drive (ideally 500Gb) to be used for Mp3's. Drive can be either internal or external. I have a firewire/USB2 enclosure I can use for this. My main need is for a reliable drive that is decently fast. I don't want to re-record all these songs again. I have had great success with seagate and lacie, and bad experience with maxtor and WD. Any advice would be appriciative too. 16MB or 32MB buffer?
I have just over 300Gb of mp3 and would like room to grow. Anyone know of any deals? |

A couple of 300s are probably cheaper than one 500. Several are advertised for around $120. http://www.salescircular.com/ca/computer/hdiskp.shtml

no that is on the internal raid drives so it runs faster...this is just for mp3's.
