I would be careful of prices that sound too good or are significantly lower than what anyone else has it for. Have you checked out the seller through www.resellerratings.com ?

A lot of camera stores are notorious for taking the order on a really cheap camcorder then cancelling it if you don't also buy a bunch of overpriced accessories.
For some reason this type of product attracts a lot of shiesters and shady dealers. Be cautious with whom you are dealing.
