GeForce 7800 GTX 512 Meg
I am look for an overclocked Geforce 7800 GTX 512 Meg. The best price that I have found is $699 and I just wanted to see if anyone knew of a better price before I purchase one.
Thanks, Tim |

Wow! That a lot of money for a video card! You sure you need the latest and greatest? Your decision of course.

Here's a deal: wait a few months. I'll cost half as much.

If you are concerned about how long your video card will last before you need to replace it, bear in mind that a $200 to $250 card will play games great for several years and you can buy three of those for the cost of just that one. By the time you are ready for the third card, you may want a whole new computer upgrade anyways.

You can get the 256mb version for less than half that price and probably won't notice any slower game play. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...9&email=051115

I second suggestion to go for the 256 MB version. At least go look at the benchmarks and see for yourself, I would guess only a 1-2 FPS difference. That was all of the difference between the 128 mb and the 256 mb when they first came out.
