What tv brands are good?

are there any videophiles out there who can tell me which companies make good televisions? I am currently in the market for a 19"-27" television for my apartment. I know Sony is good...but they're too expensive for me. Panasonic is a little cheaper and I hear they're good too. Anyone know of any other good tv's or any tv deals out there? Thanks a lot guys!

We have a 32

And I am very happy with it.

It also has teh BEST feature. Whatever tele you get you MUST get this feature on it. It is called 'SKIP'. As you watch your programand a commercial coems on you hit teh SKIP button and it pops up a timer with 30 seonds on it. YOu hit skip a few more times to run the timer up to 3-4 minutes and then you can channel surf. When the timer expires it bounces you back to your original channel. After a while you learn how long commercials are at different times on different channels and you won't ever miss a minute of your show yet you'll never see commecrcials.

I've heard that Mitsubishi makes the best quality TV in the world. Just what I heard though. I don't know if I believe that or not.

a fellow videophile

IMO, anything under 27" doesn't really matter picture quality since the screen is so small. That's just me though. I'd go with like a panasonic. They seem to have the best value for the picture and cost. Just my 2 leeeetle lyra.

Are there any other televisions like the 27" Sony Wega that have the 16:9 aspect ratio for wide screen movies?
