I'm not a WoW player, but isn't it like other MMORPGs, where when you "buy" the game, what you are really paying for is the code which gives you 30/60/90 free days of online play?
I've a WoW CD that came as a freebie in Maxim... I will be happy to send it to you. It advertises a 14 day free trial... I assume that after that you just keep paying on your own to keep playing... one of the WoW addicts here can correct me if I am wrong.

For used, you need to buy the account off of someone, which is legaly questionable, to get any use from the game.
If you had said something last month you could have been hooked up. There was a $30 rebate for existing customers. Your best bet now is to find someone that is quitting and will give away the account (not likely) or to find a deal at a retail store. |
