Cool Looks like I got REALLY lucky! ebay'r decided to crumble

So I bought band of brothers dvd collection for my dad from this guy http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...id=josephc1583
and it arrived quickly and was perfect as described. I gave him sterling feedback and was done. Today I thought "hmmm. I think I'll buy my wife those seasons of 24 she has been pining over at the video store" and when I went back to this guy I saw he was no longer a registered user. I checked his feedback and I couldn't believe my eyes. It is sad to see a great ebay'r fall like that. It is one thing to see someone's identity hi-jacked or just plain-out scammed, but what happened to this guy?

lucky in ebay (this time)

As far fetched as it sounds, this guy could either be incapacitated or dead. On the other hand he could be pond scum. Thresher, You were the lucky one. Maybe you should go buy a lottery ticket!

All of the negatives occurred during a 4 day period. Weird!

The eBay feedback system is a joke. You take out those recent shots, and he was 500+ positive, only one negative feedback. Sounds to me like he got screwed somehow.

I think it was a good dealer who himself got taken. Maybe he was just a middle man which a lot of eBay dealers are no more than.

I stopped using flea-bay b/c I don't really like the way they run their business. A while back (2 years or so) there was a guy trying to sell a Medal of Honor, which is a federal crime, when I alerted flea bay they said the MOH was being sold in Canada so it was ok. Then I pointed out to them that everyone who was bidding on the MOH was in the US and that all of the guy's other auctions were in the US they still told me pretty much to pi$$ off. I contacted the MOH society. I guess after they got the feds involved ebay decided to change their tune and remove the item. I canceled my ebay account shortly after that.

Same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I filed with Paypal and got most of my $$$ back (not enough fund in the seller's account - $6 short). I have been jerked around with eBay sellers lately.
