Surely you're joking johnny.

It hurts the eyes to see your and yur used improperly instead of the contraction for "you are" you're.

Actually, 'a lot' left You're for They're while in Cancun, because it's nice there and their luggage somehow got mixed up at the hotel.

Yesterday I took a tour of a new "technology campus" in our city. Very impressive place with several high tech companies on 100 acres. Near the start of the tour I noticed a map of the campus with a big red pointer on it reading "Your Here". I had to take a second and third look to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

Another local medical/counseling organization recently launched their new website. The site is something akin to "Think Your Healthy" dot com. Not the actual site, but you get the idea.

I don't know if people are not learning the difference between "your" and "you're", or if we're simply seeing this as a result of the growth of desktop publishing and the internet. I guess 20 years ago anything presented to the public would usually go through some kind of proofreading process, for example at the sign shop, the newspaper, etc. Nowadays, we can make our own professional looking signs with no other eyes involved.

We suck! Oh wait, wrong thread.. and yet now.
The best was some girl said to me out loud, I'm great, HBU?

And i just looked at her... And she said, it means how bout you? And i just looked at her... and then i shook my head and walked away crying at the future.
