Co. and manufactured in China, because the circuit breakers labeled "Square D" are counterfeit and could fail to trip when they are required to, posing a fire hazard to consumers. Connecticut Electric has received no reports of incidents or injuries. The counterfeit circuit breakers are black and are marked as Square D products. if in the last 3 years you have had any eletrical work done in your home . i check the breakers .and if you had lights fixtures , wall plugs installed i really check into this !

Hmm, will alert my parents of this. Dad redid the wiring in the whole house and had the whole breaker box replaced about a year ago.

Square-D is a quality electrical component line. I have spec'd them on several projects, as they make great stuff. I'm not surprised that someone would try to sell counterfeit stuff with their label on it, as it is a good brand.
