Photos from the weekend: San Diego Zoo
I made an impromptu trip to the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park yesterday to take some photos. I didn't take nearly as many as I wanted to, but I was enjoying the fun in the sun.

The link works for me now. I see the digeridoo guy was playing in Balboa Park. He is an interesting guy and very apreciative of his audience. There is sometimes a mime there who oddly enough stands in the middle of that main road in the park (by the reflecting pond) but hates his picture being taken. If he sees anyone with a camera he will try to turn his back on them or stops what he is doing. I don't understand that since he is out in public in the middle of a big tourist attraction.
The park and zoo are great. I have a membership and go there pretty often. Haven't been in a month or so now though. Some nice pictures there! I can't wait for them to finish the new elephant area (not due to open until sometime next year).
