Stage lighting....
Do any of you know anything about stage lighting? This would be for a school and I would like to keep it as cheap as possible while at the same time making it look really good.
Obviously, I'm looking online at other stuff, but was just wondering if any of you had any real world experience with it. Thanks all!

I had some experience in stage lighting when I did theater and tech for the theater back in high school. What are you wondering about?

Well...I'd like to know how much to use, what brands are good, if I should get light controls and I'm sure there are many other things I'm not thinking of.
If it helps at all, the stage is 30 ft across and about 15 ft deep. We are in a gym, and I would like the house lights to be completely off. So, I'm thinking we would need some sort of lights illuminating in the front, but would there also need to be some in the back? |
