NH man charged 23 quadrillion dollars for smokes

Muszynski says he spent two hours on the phone with Bank of America trying to sort out the string of numbers and the $15 overdraft fee.

The bank corrected the error the next day.

Bank of America tells WMUR-TV only the card issuer, Visa, could answer questions. Visa, in turn, referred questions to the bank.

i wonder if he got the smokes for free for all the time he spent on the phone trying to get the error fixed ? I'm sure he needed to run out and get another pack. while smoking those trying to explain it had to be a error to those a-holes at visa and Bank of America. gee where do you make that type of money working as a burger flipper.

I heard cigarette prices were going up but wow! Glad I don't smoke. Curious if part of that dollar amount is actually his card number.

Sounds very framiliar to the same amout that kid was changed for a purchase at CVS. Seems like a system problem myself. How odd two of these within the same week.
