Legal Question - National Directory of Legal Practitioners?
One of my friends recently got into a but of a mixup and was contacted by one of his client's attorney. The attorney's email was signed as his name, esq. I looked up the attorney's profile on linkedin and it says he went to law school once and that he used to work for a law firm as an "associate attorney" but doesn't mention any crediantials that would justify the "esq" in his signature. Is there any way I can look up a directory of registered law practitioners to see if he is legit?
