huh?

you know, i couldn't tell you what the song of the year was. i know exactly 1 avril lavigne song, i couldn't name one liz phair song. clueless on the kids remix stuff to. i don't have mtv, i don't listen to the radio (except npr). i might not know my hippety from my hoppity, but i do know that he ya is hip hop.

(my wife, who does listen to the radio, is an outkast fan...hence my familarity(sp?) with the song)

moot point, since they done broked up... nyeah.

you will all be back in my good graces as soon as you agree with me. ska. i mean, come on... would this song fit better on a mighty mighty bosstones album, or a (insert name of hip hop group here, since i don't know any, which does not in any way impair my ability to make judgement calls of this type thank you very much) album?

exactly. nyeah.

It would be more appropriate on a George Clinton album then your two choices, because its hip hop-funk. If we went by your logic I could say, "is it more likely to be on a beethoven album or a garth brooks cd? Well that means its country music."

exactly. so i don't see why we're not going with my logic here.

or do i need to bust out the chewbacca defense here? don't make me. for your own sake.

Andre is willing to move on. The whole reason for the two albums is that Andre was working on a solo one, because he want to expand and grow - he didn't want to make another Outkast thing. The other guy got jealous and worried, so started his stuff, and then they got together and decided hey, let's just make it a double.

I don't think you'll ever get a formal "we are breaking up" announcement, but you will see them do seperate things.

I don't really hear ska in the song. I don't hear no English Beat, Madness, No Doubt, or any of that in there. Ok, a little bit.

yep. don't bother disagreeing. you'd just be wrong. song of the year, i tell you.

i find it to be the most annoying song
