Us doing something like this won't even be noticed.

Sorry, that is just my opinion.

That may very well be, but then why were some programs so adamant about tracking us down and shutting down our accounts? Did they have nothing to do with their time?

I suspect that we have a bigger impact on them then they are willing to admit. Granted, Fox6 boasted over 40000 members in 2003, but even if they have 100,000 most of those are probably not active or not active on a regular basis.

But the biggest issue is really learning not to waste your time on programs that really don't offer you the amount of effort you put into it. Clearchannel has a nasty habit of taking away our points at the end of the year. How many people had over 400K points? That's a lot of effort to get all that, even if soem of those did it by getting words here. And what did they get in return? I'm guessing that most of them got NOTHING.

Again, I suggest putting all your efforts in one last ditch effort through the end of next week. If it doesn't pay off now, when we have so many more points than many people, why should it pay off later when there are more people with higher numbers of points competing for the 50K-point prizes or auctions? (Are you gonna spend 100K points for a Happy Meal? {Probably not, so all those extra points don't do you good when you're bidding on things with lower values.)

Sorry, you didn't win today - today's winner is "HNGSurf" but make sure to come back everyday after midnight and see if you won!!

On the 94.1 Home Page, right below the ad for freeloaders is "Are you today's Mystery Prize Winner?" click on that and put in your username and password. Using the link in the bonus points doesn't work anymore. Go figure!

I agree with you dogopoly. I had thousands of points with kgb which adds up to many hours of putting in code words, etc to earn them. I have had the "time lady" on speaker and was
exactly on the mark and still got "SOLD OUT" I've NEVER been able to get anything. That makes it definitly not worth my time.

Yes-I also had over 200,000 points at the end of the year and couldn't use them to get auctions cause the leading bidders had over 400,000 points!!!-and ended up losing them at years end.
However, I have to agree with ITSME-I don't think we will impact the program much by boycotting, (we will just hinder our own point totals by not entering codes)
btw-what do you mean by --I have had the "time lady" on speaker and was
exactly on the mark and still got "SOLD OUT" ?

KGB lists on their shopping page the date and time something will go on sale. When I saw something I thought I would like I would call 853-1212 (the "time lady") when the time hit exactly when the item was available I would attempt to buy it and was always too late and the item would say "Sold Out". That meant it sold out in 1-2 seconds! You had to have luck on your side to get right in at the perfect moment. I don't spend that much energy and time to hope on luck to get a prize.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh-that "lady time"-I have done the same thing using my computer time and trying to figure out EXACTLY when things would go up, and it didn't work for me either HOWEVER-the complaint here is with Clear Channel, but the SAME THING is true with KFMB(jack) and 760kfmb------they go up at a certain time and all I see is SOLD OUT!!!!!!!
I'm not sure what the solution is.

Too bad someone here who knows the promotions folks at Clear Channel can't get them to hold some kind of focus group meeting for a bunch of us to attend and give them some useful promotions feedback.

Yup...that would be cool...like maybe a forum for chatting like Jack has. I'm not thrilled with the Jack program, but I really like their board, so it makes it fun to stick around.

Don't get your hopes up. Clear Channel promotions are now being run by Mary Deary -- a super-stickler for rules. She has transferred those rules from KYXY to KOGO, Star, and US95.7 verbatim.

Mary Deary is not a fan of sharing.

Oh, no! Her "rules" were one of the reasons I boycot KyXy!! I did not appreciate what has happened to the kyxy prize program.

On the other hand, she seemed to be very good at providing large quantities of goodies. Something that her replacement (Kiku) seems to be struggling with.

Don't count on it...when they find that nobody cares about their program, the advertisers will begin to back out and go elsewhere...KYXY and Jack are ramping up as we chat.

And for some reason your message comes across as one of fear--fear that we won't supply codes to all of those who never contribute.

We had a grand time....they were having the warmest winter ever in DC...it was in the 70's with people wearing shorts...just great for us. The basketball game was great...we had $85 seats.

This was our first time flying JetBlue...sure was intrigued by flying with 36 channels of live DirecTV for the long trip. I got to watch both of the NFL playoff games while flying across the country...the Dallas game ended as we landed....terrible ending for that game.

This is the second time we've gotten to saty at Ritz Carlton on a trip win. For the life of me I can't see why someone would pay $600 for room at a Ritz Carlton, but it was nice being able to stay there for free.

Don't forget to enter all the bonus codes.

And PM me if you win one of the auction prizes going up today.
At the end of the week, I'll let everyone know how many people PMd me to say they won an auction.

Has anyone won the points for this one yet? I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time trying every day.
