ok folks, here's the deal on why that thread has been moved.

i don't have a problem with people poking fun of whoever online, famous or otherwise. i don't have a problem with how rude you guys can get and how badly that reflects upon us here at Got Apex.

what i do have a problem with is that i'm the one who gets the call from the attorney during my dinner and i have to waste my time dealing with this crap.

the problem isn't how ridiculous the thread had become. and the problem never has been what IF we get sued by some attorney over what Got Apex may be doing. heck, for those of you know who know me, i'd say bring it on.

THE PROBLEM is if something were to happen to the people that you guys are screwing around with,... and it's on OUR server that you guys post all this crap about them, calling them names, making judgment calls, WHETHER IT BE TRUE OR NOT,.... i end up being the one wasting even MORE time talking with every law enforcement, news media, and wanna be detective to clear Got Apex's name that we had nothing to do with whatever horrible said tragedy befalls whoever it is you guys are screwing around with.

if you guys want to stalk someone and post crap about them, by all means do so on your own server with your own name so that if something should happen, you can have the pleasure of the sheriff, marshal, or WHOEVER be knocking on YOUR door during the early morning hours or dinner.

i'm making the decision (not the mods) to pull the thread so that Got Apex doesn't have that pleasure. we've already gone through something like this before and i can't believe we're having to deal with this crap again.

Here is an update to the rules to avoid having this entire section of the forum shut down:

Feel free to talk smack about the radio personalities. They can't do jack about that. But absolutely NO MORE posting personal information about anyone like there was in the other thread. No pictures, no addresses or phone numbers, no websites other than the radio station ones. No maps to their houses.

The other thread may be edited and moved back. We'll have to talk it over in the backend and see how best to handle it. If you want to start a new thread without all the extra stuff, feel free. Then if the old thread is moved back, we can merge them.
