That's a good way to get 'tagged' (possible account closure) by the rewards program people, as being a Forum user/code sharer.

just to clarify that...
several years ago, many of the programs actively searched to "cheaters" and shut down their accounts when they found them. One way they did this was to plant moles on places like this and post special codes (what we now call poison codes) You got your points and the next day your account was shut down because they knew that you didn't simply get your code from the TV or make a simple mistake.

And things like adding an "e" to a non-functioning code is not bad in and of itself, but posting that you did it can raise suspicion, and if everyone else follows through, suddenly there are many "correct" entries when the entry posted on TV was invalid. A few would likely guess combinations, but not that many. (and yes, it's exciting to share these successes, but they're also risky...)

At this point, I'll simply use the invalid code and hope that CW recognizes that the invalid codes were supposed to be correct and credit us (like they often do with the morning codes that aren't working.)

After all, it's better to lose the points for one code than to lose your whole account. I've trusted Paniolo for years and I've never been steered wrong. So if it sounds like Paniolo is harsh sometimes, understand that it's really a way of protecting all of us!
