OH GREAT ONE, WHAT DO THE TEA LEAVES TELL YOU?

"I see somebody named scooter crying,
spending a lot of money on lawyers."

"I see your stock market in a downward
cycle."

OH GREAT ONE, I'M ONLY INTERESTED
IN THE XTRA SPORTS BONUS CODE.
CALL ME SHALLOW, BUT THAT'S
ALL I WANT.

"Did you listen to the radio?"

NO. BUT I BEG OF YOU. IT'S
TORTURE LISTENING TO MANCOW.

"Oh, very well then."

hmm. over 100 page views yesterday and only three active posters.

oh. DO YOU WANT THE 2500 BONUS WORD FOR 10/29?

Here's a clue. I am a song lyric. Here are my words.

Now I recall September, leaves turned brown
Remember October, left leaves on the ground.
And here comes December like an elderly fan.
And I feel like I need you again.

Now you must connect me to my song title and
the first word in the title is your bonus word.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Thumbs up 3 cheers for Skippy!

...er, make that "Zippy!"

Not only did he turn up the maximum cool 2500pt code word, but he posed it in a riddle that forced me to find a decent lyrics search engine! Now I've got a new bookmark entry under my reference links. [www.sing365.com]

Thanks, Zipmeister!

Today's 10/30 2500 point bonus word is so easy
I'm tempted to let you guys figure it out on your
own. But for my own amusement, here are
some song lyrics.

I hereby solemnly swear to tell
The whole truth
And nothing but the truth is what
I'll ever hear from you now
"Trust" is a dirty word that comes
Only from such a liar
But "respect" is something I will earn..
If you have faith .

Connect the lyrics to the song title and
you will find bonus word in the THIRD WORD
of the song title.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Shifty

Hey Sirrich3,

I didn't realize how problematic
finding the answer to those lyrics on Saturday
was until I did a search myself. Seems you
had to plug in the entire phrase into Google
to get the answer. Whereas the one I just
posted, you can simply plug in the last
sentence. But don't you think the guy
or girl programming these words is new?
I mean I remember when words like slinky,
and logo and palm were used. This weekend
was a piece of cake. Now who is going to
be the first to buy those moldy sneakers?

Hey NEUTRAL,

Where did you get those cool icons
with the king playing drums?

Now my adrenaline is kicking into high gear. I only need 3,250 and that's b/c I missed one of Zippy's posts.

Icons: go into advance mode. Go to the bottom of the icons and click on [more]. I just checked and there are no icons good enough for your last post, except, of course, Thanks, Zippy!

Heh

ATTENTION KMART SHOPPERS!!!

Whoever bought one of the Vegas
trips today could you please call
the station and tell us here what
is included in that package. Is
there airfare? Is it two nights
only? One night? There is
very little info on the xtra
site. I know you are out there,
and I hope you out yourself
otherwise those big bonus
codes are going to be sent
privately to a select few.

I did not win the Vegas trip... nor did I buy it! Hmmmm, I actually need 9,000 points for those shoes

Hey Zippy, Okay I hope you are talking about the Mamma Mia trip. The station stated that it specifically stateswhat is included. Here it is:
MAMMA MIA! Las Vegas grand prize package include: Weekday hotel accommodations at the world-class Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, a pair of great tickets to see MAMMA MIA! at Mandalay Bay, a dinner voucher for one of Mandalay Bay’s eleven award-winning restaurants, and a pair of passes to the unparalleled Spa Mandalay experience.

6 in stock.

25000 Points to claim.

Hi Zippy81 and everyone else. I just got the Vegas trip today. As you can see, this is my first post (I just found this forum a couple of weeks ago-most of my points came from referrals). Thanks for all of the help. I called the station today and they didn't know the specifics of the Vegas trip but said that they would know soon. I assume that it is for ONE nights WEEKDAY accomodation and that airfare is NOT included. If I'm wrong I'll let everyone know.

Cool

Welcome Xtrafan,

Thanks for being here. Please let
us know later. There is a similar prize on the KISS
website and it does not include airfare. But KISS
wants a human sacrifice for their trip: 150,000 points.

Hey Sir3 and Tofu, did you guys
get my Scooter reference a while back. I posted
that in the early morning hours, and then later
a very big news story broke. Was a bit esoteric
I know.

Neutral, I hope you get one
of the Vegas trips, I know you want to go.
I probably am going to pass because it is
a midweek deal. Though I am just shy point
wise. I've been considering waiting for a
30,000 point prize that says: "I SPENT
30,000 XTRA SPORTS POINTS
AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT."

Called the station today. They are still getting the Vegas package together, so no specifics yet. They said maybe early next week. I'll post what's in the package then.

If there was a bonus word today
I sure didn't hear it. They seem
to flake out when they do this
pick your poison stuff. Never
hear the word of the day. No
Zippy magic today. Nothing
worked. Sorry.

I listen to the station on my drive to and from work, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm listening for regarding codes. The other radio stations make the announcement quite obvious. If you can help me to know what to listen for I will be able to help out with the codes. Thanks for the codes

Hi Hi

Jas,

Unfortunately XTRA is not like the other
stations that have an organized points program.
XTRA expects you to listen all day and night
and they may announce the "CASH CLUB
WORD OF THE DAY" sometime. Usually
it is near the top of the hour. But that
can happen at anytime. Your best bet
is to check this board, and I will post the
codes. They allow you to guess as many times
as you want on their site, and I have an amazing
ability to get the word within one to five tries.

Eek

One of my followers bought a Vegas trip
today. Please come to the throne
and introduce yourself. Please bring
me praise, grapes, and a used copy
of Catcher In The Rye.

There are now only 5 trips left.
