i would say go for an 810 or 815 chipset & celeron -- mobo comes integrated w/ video & sound ... and you know it'll work.

if she get's ambitious, you can oc the celeron & the 815 has an agp port...

the k7v's have a problem going over 800 mhz -- do the mod that will turn it into a k7v-t or you're probably gonna be stuck at the speed you got ...

well, cooljoe, lemme start of by saying that win2k is defintely slower as a gaming solution than win98. but then again, not one vendor has a finaly version of their drivers out for the os yet. so...

1 - there are different levels of t1's, different tiers.
