URC MX3000 for me
the redesigned site is ugly IMHO. The tabbed generic content management system site has been overdone by EVERY other community site out there. I like gotapex beause the site was different from all of...
I dont want to hurt anyones feelings, but it looks like crap. The colors in my opinion do not compliment each other like they should, and the site looks like every other generic CMS based site out...
an iMac, mac mini, and iBook are all affordably priced. A powermac does cost more, but that isnt meant to compete with your typical bestbuy/homebuilt boxes.
i havent been impressed with the pictures people have posted on the avs forums. I almost ran out to buy one yesterday, but the available films suck in my opinion.
The bluray player is way...
i love my macs. they dont come with all that crap like a typical pc does...
if you have a mac an isight. There are windows drivers, but they require a seperate mic.
this saddens me. My last liteon drive was a POS. the warranty support blew, and took several months for a replacement that didnt die after 2 days of use. I replaced it with a benq drive. That drive...

PocketPC systems are starting to move towards the Treo type design. Look for more in that form factor in the coming months. I am guessing they realized the PocketPC phone blew, so they are going to...
the pda market kind of dies. If you go to any office supply store or compusa, they will have next to nothing in stock. I bought an iPaq in the past week, and had to drive all over the place to find...
I tried looking for pricing info but wasntg able to find any. IBM powerPC cpus are used in more things than macs. IBM uses them in some of their servers, Yellowdog had some non apple systems at one...
I am not impressed with todays woot. The Burr Browns are nice, but the frequency response only drops down to 80Hz. They also require a proprietary connection between the ipod and the stereo
I have...
i am very disappointed by the new apple hardware. The mac mini should have retained its old price point. Remove the wireless and bluetooth if necessary.
I know the intel core CPU's are costly, but...
Look for a DVD-Audio or SACD capable dvd player. These players require the 5.1 analog outputs

i highly doubt you will find a printer utilizing a 1GB network card. 20ppm, and 11*17 are not a problem, and most color lasers are postscript capable.
Why do you need gigabit? an 11x17 page will...
i just scanned this thread, so i didnt read everything. I did se ethe hp vs macbook comparison. One big difference is the GPU. The MacBook Pro uses the x1600 while teh HP has a integrated intel GPU....
i was in a bally's yesterday, and it seemed 3 out of every 4 people had an iPod. It was funny to see people running with a big clunky discman.
As a side note, apple releases the financials...
600,000 isnt too hard to believe. 100,000 of them probably ended up on ebay. amazon seems to get them instock daily.
