Now With Less Driving

Odd weekend, really.

Friday me and Stella hung out, as I tracked my wife through various flight delays and 300 mile car trips. Saturday I drove all over creation to go to a wedding, then drove all over creation to get to the reception (the only one I’ve ever been to that had pull tabs and a cash machine) and then, I drove all over creation just to get home.

Sunday, you’d think I’d rest, but no, I mowed for the first time in decades, and replaced the light fixture in the bedroom closet. I had other plans and schemes, but then thought screw it and played lego star wars. I deserved it. Then I headed to the airport, driving all over creation yet again, to get me lovely bride.

I did a lot of damn driving this weekend. I’m almost looking forward to going back to work at this point.

Almost.
